History of the Airbrush

20th Century Pioneers - Jens A Paasche

Jens Paasche was a young Norweigan gunsmith who had worked as a foreman for Thayer and Chandler. Together with his brother Olaf he set up his own airbrush company in late 1904. Paasche's most notable product is probably the turbo model shown below which is still in production and reckoned by many to be the finest of all airbrushes. It is easy to see that it is a development of the Walkup.
